I bought a couple of rolls of this tape in ebay ( www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170931561253) and replaced the old tape on the OSI harness. It looks great and I think it is a good tip. The seller still has some rolls, check the link. I'll post some pictures of the harness later.

Does anybody have any experience of fitting a 24v 2.9 cosworth engine in their OSI?
i was thinking of doing this, and adding a sierra cosworth 5 speed box and lsd.
I am sure many OSI owners have considered more power- this seems an obvious choice given the fact it is an evolved engine from the original!
thanks
nathan

There is 1 OSI in Holland with a 2.9 24V Cosworth engine. They also took the independent rear suspension of a Scorpio. The OSI isn't ready and in a storage for years already. Unfortunately I didn't took a picture of the Cosworth engine in the OSI, but I did of the rear suspension.

Hello OSI friends I need to know if the door hinges were painted with the body color, bolts included. My OSI hinges had traces of the body color but I am not sure if it was originally like that. A small detail: although the manual lists the top and bottom hinges as different, they have the same part number in my car. Only left and right are different and even so, you could use it in the wrong side, just the heads of the pins would be upside down. Thank you in advance for the collaboration. AmÃlcar.

Hello Amilcar, I have look on my OSI (builded 1968) the hinges are colored in the body colour, bolts included. The hinges looks upside and downside the same. So as on your picture. The heads of the pins are on the top. I have other OSI doors (builded 1967), there are different hinges upside and downside. Look here. plus.google.com/photos/105480125628162451472/albums/5913075388652080257many greetings Thomas

Hi everyone, I'm sure someone must have encountered this problem while restoring a red OSI regarding its colour code.
So far I've found out that colour codes for a red OSI are:
0754 401 or 3753 Standox
I've been browsing to see if I can find an equivalent colour code on sale these days but so far no luck.
Does anyone know the composition of this red colour or an equivalent number?
Thanks in advance

Hi Marco The red color is exactly RAL 3003 RUBINROT I compared with my OSI color cards from Standox and Lesonal and I had professional help. You can be certain of that.
The Standox Standoflex R3/R325 red-resin 799 is what you are looking for. Keep in touch

Hi Nathan, I just put a 24V Scorpio engine into one of my OSIs. It fits on the regular 4 speed transmission. I did a radiator into the front mask (there is enough space)to have more room for the engine. The hood closes and it runs. I just wanted to see if it will fit. Now I will have to restore the car and then find out how it will drive. Greetings from Germany, Stevie
